San Francisco.....lots of new firsts!!

Well....here are a few San Fran photos for you all.  Again...due to unfortunate events so much of my pictures were lost.  So....I am lucky to have found a few that I have, stole a few, and got some more from Facebook.  We had an amazing time.  We got to see Muir Woods, the Golden Gate Bridge, The Monteray Bay Aquarium, lots of wineries, the ocean, and visited Santa Cruz.  It was great quality time with my family and Uncle Derrek got to see Adlee for the second time since she was born.  Minus the horrible traveling (Adlee was great, but the delays and cancelations not so much!) we can't wait to do it again!

We lost our luggage, so we had to improvise and use Uncle Rob's hat.  Here she is seeing her Uncle Derrek for the first time since she was 6 days old!

Buffalo State Park

Quite awhile ago (over a month actually) we got to meet up with some friends at Buffalo State Park for swimming and fun.  It was great to catch up with everybody and the kids had lots of fun swimming.  A little chilly for Adlee but lots of entertainment from her buddies!

Yummy.....Vegetables!!

Well....Adlee loves eating!  She was not a fan of rice cereal or mixed grains or oatmeal.  We skipped all that and just went right to vegetables.  They are going much better.  She has tried green beans, peas, squash, and sweet potatoes.  She still can only eat little bits at a time so we are just doing about 1/4 of a container in the evening, but it is her favorite part of the day lately!

Time in Milbank...

We have gotten to go back to Milbank a few times this summer.  Adlee always has so much fun with all her cousins and Grandpa John and Pauline.  Can't wait to visit again soon!

7 Months!

I am loving this age!  Adlee is loving all veggies, oatmeal, and fruit.  Right now she is eating about 3-4 oz. at a time and eats breakfast and supper.  We have tried giving her a few puffs and some more solid foods, but it scares the living daylights out of me and she almost gags on them.  So we are going to wait on that for awhile.  She smiles ALL THE TIME.....and I am not even exaggerating.  She is such a good baby.  She has her two bottom teeth, and after they popped through she is finally sleeping through the night again!  She loves to jump in her jumper, play with stuffed animals and loves loves loves her blankies!  She loves to grab things she knows she can't have (cell phone, remote, dad's glasses) and has not started scooting or crawling at all yet.  She is a champ at sitting up and leans all over the place to get what she needs.  I hear from everybody that I should never wish her to reach this milestone early :)  Still not much hair, but I was pretty bald until I was three so I don't think there is much hope for her!  She took her first plane ride and was a champ through the whole thing.  Slept most of the time in the air, and when we were in the airport for hours on end (thats another story) she happily played and loved to people watch.  So happy she is in our lives and cannot imagine a moment without her!

On July 13, 2012 a very special couple said "I DO".  I was lucky to not only be a part of the wedding, but to be maid of honor for my very best friend since high school.  As some of you may now, an unfortunate event happened and I lost quite a bit of my pictures.  Fortunately, there is Facebook and I can steal others photos.  Here are a few from the amazing day.  Thank you Megs and Benny for letting me be a part of it and sharing your special day with me.
