Getting big.....pretty big.

TOP FOUR REASONS...

Top four reasons I am in love with teaching first grade:
1.  A little boy asked if I would be lonely this weekend without all of them there. (He thinks I live at the school).
2.  Some say good-bye to my baby at the end of the day by talking to my belly.  It melts my heart every time.
3.  A little girl said she wanted to be a teacher when she got older, "...just like you Mrs. Hicks".
4.  My entire class can recite facts about mammals, insects, birds, fish, amphibians, and reptiles.  They are IN LOVE with animals :)

Top four reasons I am in love with teaching at Central Cass:
1.  I have been given clothes upon maternity clothes from by my awesome co-workers.  They ask for nothing in return, only that I return them when I am done.  How great is that?
2.  I get asked every day by at least one person, "How are you feeling?" and they actually mean it.
3.  They listen to my silly stories and sometimes even laugh :)
4.  I got new carpet this year!

24 Weeks

Well 16 more weeks to go!  Gosh....it seems so far away still.  This little girl has really started to grow and in the last few weeks I have noticed my tummy getting LOTS bigger!  I can't imagine how much more it will grow, and can't even believe it is this big already!  I haven't gained that much weight so far, but still I have seen a number on the scale I thought I would never see.  It scares me a little to think of the numbers I will be getting too!

Labor Day Wedding

Dan was in a wedding last weekend.  We had a lot of fun and even got to meet a true life movie star!  Garret Hedlund was there....he was just as cute in person as he is in the movies.  He stars in Country Strong, Aragon, and Tron.  I was to shy to ask for a picture, so I didn't get one with him but we got one of him :)  I think this first family photo is way better anyway.  The little one loved the dance music and was kicking away all night!
