The Nursery

Wow....this room has been quite a work in progress.  So far we have the walls painted, crib up and one piece of furniture!  I need to organize a bunch, and put some stuff up on the walls!  Only 7 weeks left, I better get going...
I still need to get blinds, a rocker, more baskets, make her decoration for behind her crib, hang up the things we have bought for behind her changing table, and Dan needs to make shelves.  We'll get it done right?

So it starts out like this.  We finally got Dan's office furniture moved out and could start painting!

Here is the closet view.  We had to move that huge safe in there as it is over 1,000 pounds and I just can't justify trying to get it moved down into the basement.  Especially when we plan on moving soon ;)

So...now we have the crib set up and a dresser/changing table, but I need to ORGANIZE and straighten up!  Next weekend I am actually home maybe :)

Baby Ramzey John

We have a new nephew!  Ramzey John was welcomed into the world on October 26th!  We love him to pieces already.  We headed home to Milbank this weekend to meet the little one.  We got lots of snuggling time in and also took his two brothers to the park to play and a few other stops to give mom and dad some alone time with their new bundle of joy.  It was a great day!

Finally.....they could put on our costumes for us!  Luckily we brought some candy so they could practice trick-or-treating with us!

Weekend with nieces....August

Helping Uncle Dan sort thorough phones for his non-profit recycling company!  All profits go to the Cancer Society in honor of his mom.

Weekend with our Nephews - July

So late in posting, but I just realized I had not put pictures up here of our weekend with our nephews.  Brander and Chax got to come back to Glenwood with us for the weekend and spend it at "Grandma" Shelly's house.  My mom was loving the extra attention, and we had so much fun stuff to do!  We got a pontoon ride, went swimming, went to the parade, and made smores!

Over NDEA break Bentley and his momma got to come and stay with me!  We played, went shopping, and got ready for baby Hicks' baby shower.  We had so much fun and he is EVERYWHERE!  Our house will need to be baby proofed for when he comes to stay with us :)

33 Weeks!

Wow....this little girl is growing!  Everyday I feel a bit bigger, and I can't even imagine 7 weeks from now. I'm just hoping that I can make it down the school hallways!
