Christmas Take Two....

The weekend after Christmas we went up north to celebrate with extended family.  We saw great-grandma's, great-grandpa's, aunts, uncles, cousins, you name it!  Adlee was so spoiled but still didn't like Santa!

Christmas Take One....

We spent the weekend and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our family in Glenwood.  Adlee was not feeling well at ALL!  Kind of a cranky girl, but with lots of love around her she survived her second Christmas!

Dancing with Grandma...

Then Uncle Rob had to try....

And I end with Grandpa!

After church service on Christmas Eve

I look so cute in  my Christmas dress!

Uncle Rob loves to dance with Bentley and I!

Don't you dare take my blankie!

I was not happy to meet Santa....not happy at all!

12 months!

Here it is!  I have been almost not wanting this day to come.  I felt like it symoblized Adlee not being a baby anymore.  Then I thought - hey - we did it!  We have a healthy, beautiful, kind little one year old. She has so much personality and smiles for days.  She is very soft-hearted and will almost cry or give you her "sad face" when you tell her no.  She is all over the place and has taken a few steps but has yet to venture out much more than that with walking. She has a few words down and is saying hi, mama, da (for dad), what's that (it sounds more like a whizzing sort of sound but she points and we know what she means!), and up.  At her one year check up she weighed in at 17 lbs (third percentile), was in the fiftieth percentile for height, and get this the eighty-fifth percentile for her head circumfrance!  She loves to make her animal sounds, say hello to everyone and pretend that EVERYTHING is a phone.  Bath time with daddy is one of her most favorite things to do.  She loves walks and being outdoors (when it is nice enough out).  She dances when she hears music all the time and makes her dad and I smile daily with her goofy looks.  She loves....I mean LOVES her blankies and stuffed animals still.  What a crazy little girl.  She has brought more joy to our lives that we could have ever imagined.  We love you sweet little lady!

(NOTE ** she turned one on December 13th. Little behind on the posting!)
