Wow! How these two years have flown by! I cannot believe that we are wishing our little girl a Happy Birthday again so soon! It looks like we are starting a pattern of having her parties cancelled - one year there was a storm so not much family could show up and this year she was sick! We made up for it by having many mini celebrations with lots of family and friends. She didn't even seem to notice.
Both Dan and I cannot believe how much she learns and picks up on daily. Every day we honestly talk stories about her when she is in bed and are amazed at the silly, smart, and kind things she does. She is polite (not always with mom) and is really coming to have her own personality. She loves to play with her new kitchen and cook her mommy and daddy food. She also LOVES her books and will sit in her chair and "read" her books for long periods of time. Still obsessed with shoes, music, her blankies, stuffed animals, and clothes as well. Sometimes I even wonder why we have toys for her! She is starting to get a bit excited about having a baby brother or sister - although when the time comes I am not sure she will be as excited!
Adlee - we love you more than we can ever put into words. Your dad and I think you are the prettiest, smartest, and most kind-hearted little human being we know. Thanks for making us the luckiest parents in the world!
