Thanksgiving

Adlee's very first Thanksgiving.....and...I forgot my camera!  So, I dealt with it and had to use the old iphone.  We spent the whole weekend in Milbank and got so much time in with family.  We are blessed.  On Sunday we took some family pictures and Adlee's one year pictures too!  Coming soon....

11 Months!

Oh our sweet little girl....is it really already 11 months?  You have done so much in the last month....we are loving everything about being your parents.  We love all your faces (you have only about a million!).  I would have to say your morning face with your nose all crinkled up is my favorite.  Whenever you eat, whether nursing or from a bottle, you always take your hand and play with your clothing.  Usually your pants....you will grab them and then let go.  This means you usually only eat with one hand! You still only drink about 3-4 oz. at a time.  It surprises me because you eat enough food for a large adult man!  You giggle and laugh at the silliest things, especially when mommy makes her animal noises.  You turn at the slightest noises and are in love with the song, "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers.  I mean, obsessed should be the word!  In the car, you cry if you don't hear it.  In the bath, you cry if you don't hear it.  Dad is just happy you have good taste in music :)  You are starting to get a little bit of a temper and can really let us know if we do something that upsets you!  You love walking behind your toy with wheels and are cruising around furniture like crazy!  I guess up next is walking, but I'm in no hurry for that.  You are getting a few more teeth, but as of now you have six still that are growing and starting to show.  We think you are also getting more hair, but still not enough to put all those pretty barrettes and bows that mommy bought for you!  You make our lives so much more enjoyable baby A.  What did we do without you?!

Carving Pumpkins...

Not my most favorite thing to do.  Adlee hated it and cried when she touched the inside of the pumpkin.  {sigh} I have many more years of this...

The final product.  I just used a drill to make designs.  So much easier!  I wonder how long I can get away with it....

All the Hicks' cousins!  Yep...all seven kids are under the age of 5.  It makes for great holiday fun :)
