7
months! Holden is sitting up and loves to eat. Squash and sweet
potatoes are his favorite. He explores EVERYTHING - which usually means
something ends up in his mouth. He is drooling constantly - hoping
this means teeth are coming soon. He kicks his legs like crazy when he
is excited, smiles at everybody, and has learned how to use his voice
when he wants something! We love seeing him and his sister interact
now.... Adlee has taken the role of caretaker quite seriously and Holden
seems to love all the attention. Lucky us Holden Thomas.....lucky us.
We are so lucky to be going back to Kim's this year. I have enjoyed being home with both the kids these last six months, and to be honest - I was dreading the moment I had to go back to work. Luckily - knowing we have an amazing provider for both our little turkeys made the decision much easier. Adlee was more than excited to see her friends and show off her baby brother to Kim. Here is to another great year!
A few weeks late and no sticker as they are at the new house - I'm sure he will forgive me one day
This little guy is quite the charmer. He smiles for days and loves to
eat. We just started cereal with him and he can't get enough! He LOVES
his sister and she is our go to when he needs some calming. He is
starting to sit up and really beginning to giggle at all the funny
things his daddy does for him. He drools all the time and will put
everything in his mouth to chew on, but still no teeth. He is a very
relaxed little guy and we love him to the moon and back. Happy 6 months
H.T.!
Is it possible? Has this little guy been in our lives for 5 months already? Oh - how we love him so. He is an average size baby, but if you compare him to Adlee at this age he seems huge to us! He LOVES baths - I will even throw him in the tub just to calm him down. He talks all the time and will smile back at anybody. He is at the age where he recognizes people and will put on quite a show if you leave the room and he doesn't want you too. He is sleeping a lot still and when he is overtired - watch out! He can wail like a siren! He loves his jumper and playing with his blankies and anything that makes noise. He is still going to PT but makes improvements everyday! We are so proud of all his hard work. He is tracking well, making eye contact and grabbing like a champ. We are really working on rolling right now - can't wait to see him on the move. He is eating about 3-4 ounces at a time and takes amazing naps all while sleeping through the night! I know it makes me happy - the whole family really ;) We can't imagine life without him - he is the perfect addition to our family!
Looking at Holden I keep thinking of how much he looks like Adlee when she was a baby. So - I decided to compare some pictures. Although I can definitely see a difference now..... I can see a resemblance. Can you?
