Adlee loved her first time swimming and was kicking and squealing away in the water.  Didn't hurt that she looked so darn cute in her swimsuit too :)

Ready for fishing...

Dan came home with a new life jacket for Adlee to wear on the boat when we go fishing.  I think it is  a little to big, and may be a bit uncomfortable for her :)  We will have to see if we can find something else, but I think the picture was way to cute not to share.  Daddy can't wait to take her fishing for the first time!

Little A's new favorite thing to do...

Adlee at 5 months!

Wow...where has the time gone?  Our little lady is doing so much!  She giggles all the time now, especially when you tickle her tummy or thighs!  She is putting everything into her mouth, she loves blankets, and can really throw out some screams when she gets mad.  Her favorite things are to play with her dad's hair, rock with mom, and bath time.  She is rolling (all though not all over or all the time) but when motivated she will :)  She does not like naps, but is sleeping through the night perfectly!  Eating more with 3-4 oz bottles, but still fits into her 3 month clothes.  She is getting so much personality and I am so lucky to get to spend my whole summer with just her!

She's on a roll....literally!

Well, Adlee is officially a roller.  We saw her first roll from her tummy to her back when she was about 4 months old.  Then...I think she forgot!  Lately though we catch her rolling from her back to her tummy all the time.  Especially when she is reaching for toys or somebody's face.

Happy Mother's Day

So...I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day with the people I love most.  We were able to see my mom and sister both!  We had a brunch in Glewoond, and then headed back to Fargo where I got to spend a lot of quality time with Dan and Adlee.  Dan surprised me by getting me a Nook.  Wow.... was I shocked.  So excited....I have been reading constantly since I got it.  I guess he really did notice when I couldn't put the "Fifty Shades of Grey" down! (Did that have anything to do with it?)  It was such a special day and perfect in every way.
